Mick Jagger has revealed that he won't be sharing his wealth amongst his eight children when he dies. The Rolling Stones frontman has amassed an impressive fortune of $500 million over his 60-year career in the limelight. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, the 80-year-old musician hinted that he doesn’t want to sell the band’s post-1971 music inventory. Jagger teased that the money should go to charity instead of his offspring. “The children don’t need $500m to live well. Come on,” he joked to the publication. He went on to say, “You maybe do some good in the world.” Jagger’s oldest child is daughter, Karis, 52, whom he welcomed with Marsha Hunt in 1970. In 1971, he wed ex-wife Bianca Jagger and had daughter Jade, 51. Jagger also shares four children with ex-wife Jerry Hall, whom he was married to from 1990 to 1997: daughters Elizabeth, 39, and Georgia May, 31, and sons James, 38, and Gabriel, 25. Mick Jagger's daughter arrested

The daughter of the Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has been arrested in Spain following a hostile altercation with police. Jade Jagger, 51, has being accused of going on a drunken tirade and allegedly assaulting several national police officers in Ibiza, Spain, according to reports by <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/05/18/mick-jaggers-daughter-jade-arrested-for-assaulting-police-report/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Page Six</a>. The reports claim that Jagger became "very aggressive and violent" when police were called to help mediate an altercation she was involved in at a restaurant. Jade and one of her friends involved in the confrontation were reportedly under the influence of alcohol or "some type of substance". Before the police were called, the British jewellery designer had a disagreement with restaurant staff, while her male companion began allegedly “shouting, threatening and insulting” them. The police then arrived at the restaurant to defuse the situation, where Jade's friend "pounced" on the officers, while Jade was allegedly heard shouting “stupid police” and other rude remarks. It is unclear if Jade remains in police custody, but a local Spanish outlet states she is expected to be “brought to justice” at some point on Friday. Jade is one of Mick’s eight children. She is his only child with ex-wife Bianca Jagger. Mum breaks down after people make fun of her baby’s name

A tearful mum-fluencer has taken to TikTok to call out the “cruel” adults making fun of her son’s name. Liana Jade and her partner Connor Darlington often post videos about their lifestyle, pregnancy and parenting, racking up over 2.7 million followers on Youtube. The couple have an eight-month-old son, with an unusual name that is meaningful to them- Koazy, pronounced “cosy”. Jade was minding her business when it was brought to her attention that people had mentioned her son’s name in another influencer’s video. In an episode of The Unplanned Podcast hosted by US couple Matt and Abby Howard, the pair discussed unusual baby names and said that quirky choices for baby names in 2023 were becoming “ridiculous”. They also mentioned that it’s not a great idea to name your child something quirky, especially when they become adults. Although they didn’t mention Koazy’s name specifically, the people in their comment section were more relentless, as they began ripping at Koazy’s name. Visibly upset, Jade posted her own TikTok and explained why she chose that name. “People have said we called him Koazy because he was cosy in the womb,” she said. “But no. It was a name we already had and as I was getting so heavily pregnant, people were saying ‘he’s so cosy in your belly’. “It confirmed to us that is what we should name him... we were like ‘Oh my God, it’s meant to be’.” Jade also mentioned that she understood Koazy’s name wasn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea and that “everyone is entitled to their own opinion”. “But it’s just different when there’s this comment section open on such a big influencer’s video of people, fully grown adults, just sat there slandering my baby’s name. “I think it’s quite cruel – and if I had posted that video personally, I think I would have been very mindful of who was being named and how that can have an effect on other people,” she said. Sir Mick Jagger has slammed the comparison between the veteran rocker and pop superstar Harry Styles. Harry, a former member of One Direction whose solo career has seem him rise to the top of international music charts, has often been likened to The Rolling Stones frontman for their similar look and stage presence. While the 78-year-old rockstar can see the likeness in their looks, Jagger believes this is where their similarities end. Jagger told Sunday Times Culture magazine, “I like Harry — we have an easy relationship." “I mean, I used to wear a lot more eye make-up than him. Come on, I was much more androgynous. And he doesn’t have a voice like mine or move on stage like me; he just has a superficial resemblance to my younger self, which is fine — he can’t help that.” Harry Styles has long noted his love of The Rolling Stones, once calling Mick Jagger "the coolest man on the planet", and even impersonated Mick Jagger on 2017 episode of Saturday Night Live. Mick Jagger’s son Gabriel can now say he is a married man. 23-year-old Jagger tied the knot with his Swiss socialite wife, Anouk Winzenried, in an incredibly intimate ceremony in London. The couple released one official photo of their special day in a picturesque garden. Gabriel donned a navy suit with a light pink tie and an off-white boutonniere. The home is situated in the small village of Poce-sur-Cisse. One widely reported rumour claims the Rolling Stones last ever album was recorded at the property. Actress Rae Dawn, the daughter of American comedian Tommy Chong, has claimed she spent a “fabulous” two days with Mick Jagger when she was just 15 years old in 1977. Rolling Stones star Mick Jagger “on the mend” after surgery

Mick Jagger, frontman of the Rolling Stones, is reportedly “on the mend” after having heart surgery. This is the first time he’s spoken out about his surgery since the announcement of The Stones’ postponing their US and Canada tour. The postponement of the tour was to help Jagger recover. Fran Curtis issued a statement explaining that Jagger is doing “very well” after undergoing “treatment”. “Mick Jagger has successfully undergone treatment. He is doing very well and is expected to make a full recovery,” the statement read. <a rel="noopener" href="https://www.billboard.com/articles/business/8505740/mick-jagger-undergoes-successful-heart-valve-procedure" target="_blank">Billboard</a> magazine has reported that the surgery involved the replacement of a heart valve. Despite citing unnamed sources, Billboard explained that doctors were able to access the valve through his femoral artery and were monitoring the star for signs of complications. The surgery that was done on Jagger is known as transcatheter aortic valve replacement or TAVR, which is an increasingly used alternative to surgical valve replacement that requires the chest to be opened. TAVR allows for shorter hospital stays and faster recovery times. The Rolling Stones have postponed the North American leg of their US tour after it was confirmed Mick Jagger has fallen ill with a mystery illness. An announcement was made on Saturday explaining the situation. According to the statement, Jagger needs to rest. They’ve been bandmates and friends for over half a century now, but Rolling Stones legends Keith Richards and Mick Jagger still have the odd tiff from time to time. However, their latest spat has played out for all to see, forcing Richards to issue a public apology to Jagger after making some insensitive comments he made during an interview with the <a href="https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-wisdom-of-keith-richards-1519826136" target="_blank">Wall Street Journal Magazine</a>. In it, the iconic guitarist described Jagger, who <a href="/news/news/2016/12/exciting-news-for-mick-jagger/" target="_blank">recently welcomed his eighth child</a> at the age of 73, as a “randy old bastard” and suggested he should get a vasectomy. “It’s time for the snip – you can't be a father at that age,” he said. “Those poor kids!” Then, just hours after the interview was published online, Richards took to Twitter to apologise to Jagger, saying he “deeply regrets” the comments he made. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"> I deeply regret the comments I made about Mick in the WSJ which were completely out of line. Unearthed: The Rolling Stones’ Rice Bubbles ad jingle

Rare footage has been unearthed of a 1960s commercial for Rice Krispies (Rice Bubbles to us) recorded by the legendary Rolling Stones. Written by original band member Brian Jones, it’s believed the ad was recorded only a short time after the band got together, around 1963 or 1964. The upbeat “snap, crackle and pop” jingle certainly is a stark contrast to “Paint it Black”and “Sympathy for the Devil”, that’s for sure! Rock legend Mick Jagger is expecting his eight child with his American ballerina girlfriend, Melanie Hamrick. Mick, 72, and Melanie, 29, have been dating since 2014. This is Melanie’s first child with the rock star, who has seven other children with four different women. Mick also has five grandchildren and recently became a great-grandfather.
